☽ LUNA ☾ (Twenty-First Poem)

You and I, between us wide skies,
Destined to be light years apart.
Forbidden from seeing your eyes,
I feel agony shattering my heart.

On my weak earthly feet I stand,
While you darling soar above so high.
I look upwards, reaching out a hand,
But alas, my broken wings cannot fly.

Signed to you, my fiftieth letter,
Is let go to oblivion into the air.
Watching it, I get more bitter,
And curse at nothing in dreadful despair.

Heaven, O Heaven, how I beg to be
With you, in your perfect euphoric space.
This whole damned world despises me,
Such world was never my place.

This detestable world shall never keep
Me from being by you dear's side.
No, never again shall it make me weep,
To my fate I swear I will never abide.

Gathering courage, I finally find the way
To your upper dimension - the spaceship.
Closing the ship's door, "goodbye", I say,
And prepare for my otherworldly trip.

My blood covers the kitchen floor,
A horrifying takeoff, quite the dramatic show.
With my sorrows not there anymore,
I depart, beyond the cosmos I go.

At last I see you, Sister of mine,
Your beautiful face, so kind, so true.
You are the moon, my dearest, so divine,
And I am a star, right beside you.
